I guess I should have included the URL for the yahoogroup I am in - it is groups.yahoo.com/group/Aus_NZartquilters/ I am/was also a member of an e-mail list called Artyquilt too ... it still exists but nobody ever posts to it any more ... and the one I am active on now was actually started by someone who didn't know that the other one already existed (it had gone extremely quiet by then ... not sure why - it was quite busy/etc for a few years but then it kind of died down to nothing much at all - I think a few members moved on and a few got busy with other things. The old one used to have a few swaps and challenges and stuff - and now the new one does - we have made, and even exhibited, journal quilts and had a quilt swap and postcard and ATC swaps and all sorts of things ... (and I think I need 50 more hours in the day so I can have time to participate in them all and keep up with all the yahoogroups and forums/etc that I seem to be active on!)

yes ... that is why I am in an art quilt yahoogroup, and also part of a sub-group of Canberra Quilters members who are into art quilts. most of my quilts (or at least those i finish) are art quilts ... they are too weird to be normal ones - lol

I'm here - just joined (after reading Del's "bragging all over the www") ... lol
I should be asleep - oops!
my profile picture isn't me (couldn't find a half decent one of me in a hurry) but it is some stuff I crocheted, and my blog on the computer screen ... so it is sort of "me" - lol
I live in Canberra, and probably have more UFOs than anyone (definitely if you count crochet and other not quilty UFOs as well - lol) ... I need 50 more hours in each day, or a few cloned copies of myself - then one could go to work, another could tidy my house, and another could sort out my sewing room, another could finish my UFOs,and another one or 3 of me could do all the stuff a wife and mother needs to do, and all the other things I can't think of/don't have time to try and remember/list, and another copy of me could do all the sleeping I never seem to have time for but somehow still seem to need - while the real me could do whatever I want to do, whenever I want to do it!

... yes - you now all know that I am weird - LOL

(but that is ok - I like weird
